It's all about the BUSINESS in the front, PARTY in the back!

Professional moms, hairstylist, fashion divas and anyone else who cares to have an opinion...I need your HELP!!!!!! Remember back in the day when this hair style was cool? It was the days of Billy Ray and his famous "Achy, Breaky". To be honest his hair was the only thing that was achy to me. I was never a big fan of the mullet look, but yet endured the style patiently.

This is my cute little Kenzie girl dressed in her Halloween costume in October. As you can see her hair was non-existent which was great for me. But now that her hair is growing in, this is what I'm finding...

Business in the front!

Party in the back!

The dreaded baby MULLET!!!!
I'm sure we have all looked at past pictures of ourselves and have thought..."Why didn't anyone tell me I looked like that" or "What was my mom thinking...Why would she cut my hair like that!" Readers of our blog, NOW is your chance to save my cute, innocent girl from such comments as these!
Your advice would be greatly appreciated...Do I cut it or let it grow out?

I'm totally with you. Kayla's uncle kept saying he was going to cut her hair when I wasn't looking, but we've patiently let it grow. The only time I cut it was to even out where her bald spot grew in. It was a cute bob for a bit, and now we're back to crazyness. The only thing I can really do with it is piggy tails. I'm hoping it starts to grow faster soon...

CUT IT, CUT IT, CUT IT!

Seriously, Sarina's was the same, and after asking several people, I finally decided to cut it. It was the best decision! Both Ryan and I were like, "Why didn't we do that sooner?".

And now looking back at pictures, (even from just last year) I totally can't believe I ever let it grow as long as it was. It looked ridiculous.

Not that Kenzi looks ridiculous of course... (uhhhh, awkward)

We can still be friends right?

Keep it. She looks cute.

Cut it! Not because she doesn't look adorable, but because it will make her hair grow faster, and thicker. At least that is what a hair stylist told me??

Ah this is a hard one. Mia had a mullet too but I could not cut it because she was bald for so long. I couldn't bare to cut what little she had. So in the end she had a curly mullet.

And we rocked it!

Ya that's hard, Aubrey is the complete opposite. Party on the top, shortness on the sides and back.

Let it grow sister! I'm all about letting the girls hair grow... or was that me in the bathroom just last week trying to "make" them sit still so I could chop it? Hmmm... yes that was me in the bathroom. Well if you're gonna cut it, do it right. You've gotta give her a sucker or anything that's off limits so she'll sit there and play without moving. Unfortunately scissors are too sharp because ALL my kids would be in love with me if I let them hold the scissors:) And if you're cutting I'd just cut it straight across in the back. Ooo, you could even cut it a little short and spike it!!! Wouldn't that be sassy!

C-U-T IT. You will get a cute baby bob soon enough, like Suri/Katie Holmes. Cut it.

Okay, so we utah-mullet-lovin-people think Kenzie's hair is great. She looks so cute with her little hair bows and things. If you cut it you will just recieve comments on your cute little boy. Even in pink. Things could be worse, she could be bald until she is 4 like my sister and I were. We love you.

cut it. it only gets worse. plus, never be afraid to cut your kids hair- it grows so fast. headbands are also a good alternative for girls. by the way- remember how we only live a couple of hours away? come visit already.

Why does this happen to girl. My oldest girl had/has the same problem! Her twin brother on the other hand has no problem growing hair. It just isn't right(he also has the long, thick eyelashes) We trimmed Jane's at the bottom and it looks so much better. My vote is to trim.

This post is hilarious. She does kind of have a mullet. With Leila we had the opposite, party in the front and business in the back. I thought her little "curls" in the front were cute and could not believe it when someone had commented about their mom not wanting to cut their hair as a baby and the rediculous baby pics she had because of it. I say, if you don't like it, cut it. But be prepared to have a Kenzi that looks more grown up. From experience when her hair starts coming in, it will start coming in fast. In the meantime, work with what she's got. Loved the post! So creative!
