I can't believe my baby girl is 2 years old. Time has gone by so fast! This year I made a ladybug cake. I got the idea from my sister-in-law and from the "Family Fun" magazine. Not to mention that one of Kenzie's favorite books to read is the Ladybug counting book. The cake was super easy to make, much easier than the crazy candyland cake I made for her first birthday.
If you can't tell the nose and month are the #2.
Mackenzie was really excited when we sang Happy Birthday. She had been practicing for several weeks blowing out the candles (she blew out both candles with one breath). Dan's birthday was a few weeks prior to hers, and when we sang happy birthday to him, she stopped us and said..."no, happy day Kenzie" so we had to sing happy birthday to her instead of Dan.

You're so food crafty! The cakes/cupcakes look awesome!
Cute!! I attempted a lady bug cake YEARS ago and it wasn't nearly as cute. Oh, and love the picture of Dan and Mckenzie's toys! So funny!!!!
Looks yummy!
Have you seen that book "Hello Cupcake"? Look it up on amazon because you would LOVE it! It's a cup cake decorating book that makes this kind of stuff and shows you all the fancy secrets.

Happy birthday to Mackenzie!!
You have quite the baking skills girl!!!!! Such detail with the
2's!
Look at you, Martha Stewart! I am so impressed. Man, I just made a lame rice crispy cake for Jackson (due to allergies), I think I need to hire you as a consultant for the next cake! She is a cutie.
